Peshawar, University of Peshawar has decided to finish the evening shift of the BS program from September this year. The evening shift of BS program was started at the University in 2009.

The vice chancellor of the University that they are going to close the evening shift of BS programs as they could not generate the desired result from this evening program for which this shift was started. He also said that he wanted to improve the standard of education in the university and this evening shift became the burden on the university to improve the quality of education in the university. The university is also trying to produce more PhD degrees in the university to raise the quality of education. At present, there are 220 teachers, who have completed their PhD degrees and 340 teachers are going to complete their research papers leading to the PhD degrees.
