Punjab Examination Commission has announced the date sheet for 8th class which will be held during February 2013. According to the details of the PEC, the annual exams 2013 will be started from February 07, 2013 and will be ended on February 15, 2012. The students of all government schools who have applied for the annual exams being held under the commission should note the date sheet which will be delivered to their concerned schools in due course of time.

Punjab Examination Commission was set up for conducting the annual exams of 8th class and check the ability of the students as well as the standard of education in the government schools.

Punjab Examination Commission has declared that the annual exams of 5th class will be held during February 2013. According to the detailed information of the PEC, the annual exams 2013 for 8th class will be conducted on February 01, 2013 and it will be continued till February 06, 2013. The students who have applied for the subject should contact with their relevant schools for getting information including the schedule of the exams.

Punjab Examination Commission is a mandatory body for conducting annual exams of 8th class which they held every year. The main objective of these exams is to judge the capabilities of the students and also analyze the standard of education being imparted in their schools.

MA Annual Exams Result Announced by KU

Karachi, The regular Annual exams result for MA (final & previous) classes for the year 2011 has been announced by the Karachi University.

The statistics of the result of MA Economics (previous) shows that 5654 candidates submitted admission forms for appearing in the MA Economics regular annual previous exams. Only 5110 candidates appeared in the exams out of which only 712 candidates were declared successful in the exams. The percentage of the successful candidates remains 13.93 which is very less.

According to the result of MA Economics (final) regular annual exams, 10 candidates got their registration with the university and all of them appeared in the exams but only 4 candidates were declared successful. The percentage of the result remains only 40%.

IBM Donated Rs.33m by Bank Alfalah

Karachi, According to the official sources of the AlFalah Bank, the bank is going to donate Rs.33m to the Institute of Business Administration while extending their endowment fund.

Bank Alfalah is extending their cooperation with various departments especially with educational department for the development of education in the country. While investing money in other department, the education sector remains the key focal area for the bank to donate money which is used for the betterment and promotion of education. to support educational department, bank remains consistent with it as it is the part of its social governance efforts in the country.

KU Issues BA/BSc Annual Exams Date Sheet 2012

Karachi, Karachi University is going to conduct the annual exams of BA/BSc 2012 for which they have announced the complete schedule of exams. Karachi University holds annual exams for BA/BSc exams in the month of December and now they have announced date sheet during December and first paper of BA exams will be held on December 05, 2012.

According to the detailed information, the BA papers will be conducted in the evening time and BSc exams will be conducted in the morning time. The University administration has announced all the students about the complete schedule of the exams along with their roll number slips. FC College Student wins Global UGRAD Pakistan-Program Video Competition

Lahore, The brilliant and talented student of Foreman Christian College Lahore, Anum Shahzad has won the Global UGRAD Pakistan-Program video competition. The program is entitled with ‘A Day in the life of a Global UGRAD-Pakistan Fellow.’ Anum and two other Pakistani students who participated in the competition won this noble competition. Anum has already won the Fulbright Scholarship for undergraduate studies this year for studying in Bennett College.

Anum and other Pakistani students made a video describing their experience for studying in the colleges and universities and their first hand knowledge about American society and its social and political values governed in their society. She has also got a micro grant for contributing her experience and knowledge when she arrives at home.

Pre-Entry Test Results Declared by DCET

Karachi, The admission process was started in the Dowood College for Engineering and Technology in various disciplines. The college administration conducted entry test for the selection of the candidates on November and now they have declared the result of the entry test and gave full details of the students who qualified in the test.

According to the detailed information, when the admission process was announced, about 3597 candidates submitted their admission forms for seeking admission in various disciplines out of which 3234 candidates appeared but only 1691 candidates qualified in the test.

The Principal of Dowood College for Engineering and Technology Dr. Muhammad Ali Sheikh who is also Vice Chancellor of Sindh Madrassah tul Islam University announced the result and gave details. The students who belong to Sindh Urban are being admitted against 173 seats but there are 1050 students who are seeking admission. The candidates who come from Sindh Rural have also 173 seats but the number of the candidates is only 583. The University administration also reserved only 100 seats against which only 21 candidates are being admitted as these seats will be filled with self finance scheme.

The College administration has announced the date of interview of the candidates on December 10, 2012 for the final sele3lcion of the candidates. The qualified candidates will be given admission in the disciplines for which they have applied. The college has announced commencement of classes from January 07, 2013.

Admissions Offered in BBUVAS 2013

Sakrand, Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Sakrand is going to offer admission to the students for 1st Professional Doctor of Veterinary Medicines for Academic year 2013. The University has announced the program for grant of admission in which candidates are instructed to obtain admission forms from the admin office of the University. The candidates should submit admission forms with postal order of Rs.500 with the application forms.

The candidates must obtained at least 50% marks in their intermediate exams (pre-medical) and they should be the resident of Sindh province so these candidates will be considered eligible for grant of admission in the 1st Professional Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. The candidates who have already applied for admission in Professional Doctor of veterinary Medicine should not apply again as their previous applications will be considered for grant of admission.

Apart from these, the University has also announced some seats which are reserved for grant of admission on the self finance basis according to under mentioned procedure:

The candidates having domicile of Sindh province will deposit fee of Rs.100,000, the students having domicile of provinces other than Sindh will deposit fee of Rs.300,000 and the overseas students will have to deposit fee of US $5000 for grant of admission in the university.
