Lahore, The Department of Pharmacy, Lahore College for Women University has started admission process in the MPhil Pharmacology for 2013-15.
The eligible candidates will have completed 5 years Pharmacy degree holders with at least 60% and have passed GAT test can apply for grant of admission in the faculty. The candidates can get application forms along with prospectus from the admission office of the university from January 14, 2013 and this process will be continued till January 21, 2013. The candidates are also instruct to attach the copies of all educational certificates including Matric, FSc, PharmD, professional experience certificates, CNIC, GAT result and character certificate.
Rawalpindi, The schedule for submission of admission forms for Intermediate class has been announced by the Education board of Rawalpindi. The candidates can collect the registration forms from the selected branches of the banks and submit in the 21 different facilitation centers of the board which has been set up for the convenience of the students. The board has also announced that the last date for the regular students is January 21, 2013 and for the private candidates is February 04, 2013 and the annual exams of intermediate class will be started from May 04, 2013.
Fee will be charged from the regular students of Humanities group Rs.1400 from the both parts and Rs.750 from the regular students for Part I or II. The private students of Humanities will pay the admission fee of Rs.1500 for both parts and Rs.800 for Part I or II.
Similarly the regular students of science group will pay the admission fee of Rs.1500 for both parts and Rs.800 for Part I or II. The private students of science group will pay the admission fee of Rs.1700 for both parts and Rs.900 for Part I or II.
In case of late submission of registration form, the private candidates will have to pay Rs.800 as late fee along with admission forms and fees.
Karachi, Federal Urdu University for Arts, Sciences and Technology Karachi is going to issue equivalent certificate for which they have announced last date for the submission of forms with fee of Rs.2000 and Rs.30 for the collection of the certificate fee. The last date for the submission of forms for collection of equivalent certificate is fixed as January 31, 2013.
The students of Shahdat-e-Alaia and non graduate DHMS will have to appear in the graduate subjects of Pak Studies, Urdu, English and Islamiat for obtaining the equivalent certificate.
International English Language Testing System has been designed by the two different parties including Cambridge University and IELTS Australia. The main objective of the IELTS exams is to make better the speaking, listening and writing English language for the students who want to get admission in universities of the world. This education system is also making comprehension and understanding of the English language easier which facilitate the candidates. British Council is going to conduct the tests for the IELTS for various candidates. Now they are going to announce the city and date for the test. The schedule of the test of IELTS changes every year.
University of Engineering and Technology Taxila has started admission in different disciplines of Engineering and Technology. The administration of the University received applications for the admission on prescribed forms for undergraduate
Engineering Programs for which the entrance tests are going to be conducted. The candidates who qualify in the test will be granted admission in different disciplines. The university will also give the transport facility to the candidates who want to appear in the entry test from different areas of Rawalpindi and Islamabad and Wah Cantt to the University and back.
Note: The Chakwal campus of the University is also offering admission in different disciplines of Engineering including Electronic, Software, Telecommunication and Computer Science. The eligible candidates who have completed their education in FSc with Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics with 60% marks are invited to apply for admission. The candidates who have done NCC and Hifz-e-Quran, their separate marks are also included in the tests. The students at Chakwal campus will not be given the hostel facility.
The candidates who have the qualification of three years post matric diploma (DAE) in the relevant faculty or technology from Punjab Board of Technical Education Lahore will be given admission on the reserved seats. They will not be given admission against open merit.
The admission process for MS Environmental Design will be started by the Allama Iqbal Open University and this process will be continued till January 25, 2013. Admissions are also carried out for PGD for which it has announced that NTS is not necessary. The eligible candidates can download the admission forms online. Aga Khan University is going to start admission to the candidates for Master in Education for giving education and training to the educational managers, teachers and teacher educators. This course has been introduced for the betterment of education.

Karachi, Karachi University has arranged an annual convocation for the award of medals and certificate to the students who got position and showed their extra ordinary performance in their Master/BS/Hons programs under evening programs. The convocation will be held on January 30, 2013 and the interested candidates should submit their registration forms till January 18, 2013.
The students who got first positions in the respective programs will be given gold medals and rest of the students will be given certificate. The students of MD/MS/PhD/MPhil/DSc/D.Litt for 2011 and onward will be given degrees in the convocation. The position holders in these departments will also be given medals.
The candidates who got first position in Master/BS/Hons in their relevant departments will fill the convocation registration forms with prescribed forms to the D.R (A) office, 1st Floor, Administration Building, Karachi University. Tandojam, The admission process is started at Sindh University of Agriculture in different disciplines for the session 2012-13. The admission forms are accepting by the concerned department and now the last dare for the submission of admission forms is enhanced till January 22, 2013 for the facility of the candidates.
