An allocation of 9 seats in Azad Kashmir, Baluchistan and KPK has been made for all the students of medical college of whole Punjab. An option will be available for the students of Medical colleges of Punjab regarding transfer in related provinces by mutual cooperation and this option is also available for Open Merit Student.
The results of 9th class of all the Boards of Punjab will be announced on 22 August which is told by the representative of the Board.
Punjab University conducts the annual and supply exams of different classes every year. The university has conducted the annual exams of BSc, in which thousands of the students on different colleges and other educational institutes appeared in the exams. Now Punjab University is going to announce the Punjab University BSc result 2013.
It is expected that Punjab University BSc result 2013 will be declared on 16th August 2013 or during the last week of August. As and when they will announce the PU BSc result 2013, it will be uploaded on website http://www.result.pk/
Punjab University will also conduct the prize distribution ceremony in which the top position holder students of PU BSc result 2013 will be announced. The university will also provide the PU BSc result 2013 on their official website to facilitate the candidates.
Mansehra, Hazara University Mansehra is going to start admission process in more than 32 departments for which they have issued the detailed schedule for admission in Fall semester 2013 in the university. The university will grant admission to the students of BA and BS (Hons) candidates and they can submit their admission forms on or before 30 August 2013. The candidates, who intend to get admission in the MPhil and PhD programs, should send their applications for admission on or before 13 September 2013. Faisalabad, University of Health Sciences Lahore is going to conduct the admission in the medical and dental colleges of Punjab for which admission process is continued. Now UHS will hold the medical and dental college’s admission entry test on 22 Sept 2013. The University has decided that there will be two exams centers in Faisalabad, separate for both male and female keeping in view the number of students being appeared in the entry test.
Faisalabad district administration has decided in their meeting that the female candidates will appear in the medical and dental college’s entry test in the Government College Madina Town and the male candidates will have to appear in the medial and dental entry test in Agriculture University Faisalabad. Government College Madina Town has the capacity of about 2600 candidates and the Agriculture University has the capacity of 1200 candidates & they can adjust the candidates of Faisalabad region in these two test centers.
Faisalabad, Punjab government has increased the entry test fee up to 100 % to meet the expenditure incurred on the medical and dental college entry test. The government has calculated that previous year, about 36,098 candidates appeared in the entry test for grant of admission in the medical and dental colleges of the province and they had to deposit the fee of Rs.500 per head which came to Rs.1,80,49,000 but the total expenditure incurred on the test were Rs.3,68,26,380. To meet the expenditure, the government had to issue grant of Rs, 2 crores.
It is estimated that about 40,000 candidates will appear in the entry test for the medical and dental colleges and the total expenditure on the entry test for admission in the medical and dental colleges will be Rs. 3.5 crores. The government will collect Rs.1000 from every candidate, which is double entry test fee if compared with last year entry test fee. The government is going to make all necessary arrangements to conduct the entry test of the candidates, which has been finalized on September 22, 2013.
Faisalabad, University of Health Sciences has started the admission process for MBBS and BDS programs in all government and private colleges and medical institutions of the province. The UHS has decided that the entry test of the candidates will be conducted on September 22, 2013 in all medical and dental colleges of the province, where they will set up the exams centers.
Faisalabad district administration has also conducted a meeting in which the arrangements are viewed for the entry test of the MBBS and BDS candidates. For this purpose, two exams centers are set up for the candidates for male and female candidates separately. It is very cumbersome task to accommodate huge number of students for the medical and dental.
Rawalpindi, Matric supply exams are going to be conducted for which admission forms are going to be received and Punjab Board Committee of Chairmen fixed the last date of Aug 12, 2013 for the
submission of admission forms. Due to holidays till August 14 and flood situation in different areas of Punjab, the committee has extended the last date up to August 15, 2013 for the candidates to submit their admission forms.
The Private Schools Management Association has said that this extension for the submission of admission forms is quite insufficient and the committee should extend the last date for the submission of admission forms till August 17 instead of August 15, keeping in view the problems being faced by the candidates living in flood affected areas of Punjab.
