Karachi, Intermediate Part I annual result for Pre-Engineering and General Science groups has been announced by the Karachi Board of Intermediate Education for the exams of 2012-13.
According to the controller of exams of the board, about 24,961 boy and girl students appeared in the annual examinations of intermediate class. The result declares that only 11,828 students have passed the exams which are 47% of the entire result.
The board is also of the view that the result of intermediate part II Pre-Engineering and General Science group declared in September is better than 9% of this exam and now there is decline in the result.
Board of Intermediate Education Karachi was set up in 1974 for the improvement of education in the government and affiliated educational institutions of the Karachi city. This board has the mandate of maintaining quality of education through proper maintenance and scrutiny of education.
