The Govt. of Punjab has announced the Education Emergency Ordinance in the whole of Punjab which will be implemented instantly. According to Education Emergency Ordinance, the children between 6 and 15 years of age will seek education and it will be the responsibility of parents to admit them in the schools. Their name will not be emitted from the school and doing so will be charged by 6 months imprisonment or Rs. 50,000 fine to the principal of school. The poor and deserve students will be given 10% quota in the modern schools, according to this ordinance.

Multan, The Intermediate Annual Exams for 2014 will be started from 30 April 2014 as all educational boards of Punjab have decided to manage the annual exams of FA/FSc for 2014 on the same day and same time. Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education across Punjab have planned this schedule under the guidance of Punjab Board Committee of Chairmen and the roll number slips sent to the students on their postal addresses enabling the students to appear in the exams of Inter class. Chairman, Multan Board will also address to the press conference regarding start of the annual exams of Intermediate class. The candidates should contact with their educational boards to get the duplicate roll number slips if they do not receive the roll number slips in time.
