Faisalabad, Faisalabad Educational Board is going to start the annual exams of intermediate for the year 2013 from tomorrow on May 18, 2013.

The board has made all necessary arrangements for the annual exams 2013 and experienced staff has been deputed on the duties. The annual exams of FA/FSc Part I will be commenced from May 18 till June 03, 2013 and the annual exams of FA/FSc Part II will be started from June 04 and continued till June 19, 2013. The practical papers of both parts will be conducted from June 26 to July 19, 2013.

Sukkur, Sukkur Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has started the annual exams of FA/FSc for the year 2013. The board has set up exams centers in all cities and towns in which schools and colleges are affiliated with the board. The board adopted precautionary measured to ensure the peaceful environment of the exams. The exams will be conducted according to the date sheet, which has already been released. The board has appointed the surprise checking teams to avoid copying in the exams.

Faisalabad, Vice Chancellor of Agricultural University Faisalabad, Prof Dr Waqar Ahmed Khan has announced that the QS World Universities Ranking has considered their university in the top 150 universities of the world. He said that the QS has also released their list of top 200 universities of the world in which no Indian University is included. Only three other Muslim universities like Cairo University,  Putrajaya University Malaysia and Bogra University of Agriculture are included in the list of top 200 universities of the world.

Vice Chancellor was addressing with the celebration ceremony in the honor of their research and academic staff as their participation and hard work brought this university on the surface & now they are considered in the top 150 universities of the world. The university has performed well in the fields of Biological Sciences, Environment and Chemistry along with Forestry and Agriculture. The VC has announced relief package for the staff.

Lahore, University of Engineering and Technology Lahore is going to start admission in different engineering disciplines for 2013. The university has announced the expected date for the entry test during August 2013.

The University will hold the entry test of the candidates in the disciplines including BSc Technology and Engineering and the applicants should apply for admission during the mid of July 2013. The candidates should produce their CNIC or form ‘B’ in the entry test of the disciplines.

Islamabad, Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered to Higher Education Commission to update the list of the recognized universities on their website. The commission has uploaded the list of 146 universities, which are recognized and their degrees are attested by the commission.

The HEC has also cleared that there are nine universities, which are not recognized by the HEC and their degrees are also not attested by the commission. The commission has released the list of the universities like Habib University Foundation Karachi, Pakistan Institute Management University Karachi, Dar ul Madina University Islamabad, South Asian Strategic University Islamabad, My University Islamabad, Nazir Hussain University Karachi, Hyderabad University of Arts, Science and Technology, Capital University Islamabad and Lal Shahbaz University Karachi, which are not recognized by the HEC.

Islamabad, Allama Iqbal Open University will start the autumn semester exams 2012 of different programs including MA, MSc and PGD. The exams will start from May 22, 2013 in all exams centers throughout the country.

The candidates can obtain the duplicate roll number slips by sending the two attested passport size photographs. The university has also uploaded the roll number slips on the website so that you can download the roll number slips from the website also. The candidates should also read the instruction on the back of the roll number slips before appearing in the exams.

Quetta, The interview schedule has been announced by the Examination department of Sardar Bahadur Khan Women University Quetta. The interviews will have been conducted for MPhil programs from the women, who are eligible and want to get admission in the university.

The first interview will be conducted on May 20 from 09:30 to 11:30 in the Mathematics and Chemistry. The second interview will be conducted on May 20 from 12:00 pm to 02:00 pm for Zoology and Botany.  The third interview will be conducted on May 21 for English and Urdu. The interview of Education and Islamiat will be conducted on May 22 and the Computer Sciences & Management Sciences interviews will be conducted on the same day from 09:30 to 01:00. The candidates should bring original documents and GRE card with them at the time of interview.
