Admissions in Master of Education by AKU

Aga Khan University is going to start admission to the candidates for Master in Education for giving education and training to the educational managers, teachers and teacher educators. This course has been introduced for the betterment of education.

The interested and eligible candidates should contact with the university administration for the provision of admission forms and submit the same at the earliest for grant of admission. It is also worth mentioning that the written admission test will be conducted on March 16, 2013.

KU Celebrates Annual Convocation on Jan 30

Karachi, Karachi University has arranged an annual convocation for the award of medals and certificate to the students who got position and showed their extra ordinary performance in their Master/BS/Hons programs under evening programs. The convocation will be held on January 30, 2013 and the interested candidates should submit their registration forms till January 18, 2013.

The students who got first positions in the respective programs will be given gold medals and rest of the students will be given certificate. The students of MD/MS/PhD/MPhil/DSc/D.Litt for 2011 and onward will be given degrees in the convocation. The position holders in these departments will also be given medals.

The candidates who got first position in Master/BS/Hons in their relevant departments will fill the convocation registration forms with prescribed forms to the D.R (A) office, 1st Floor, Administration Building, Karachi University. The candidates can also visit the website of the university for getting further detailed information.

Sindh Agriculture University Admission Form Submission Date Enhance Till Jan 22

Tandojam, The admission process is started at Sindh University of Agriculture in different disciplines for the session 2012-13. The admission forms are accepting by the concerned department and now the last dare for the submission of admission forms is enhanced till January 22, 2013 for the facility of the candidates. The entry test will be conducted in the Public School Latifabad, Hyderabad on February 17, 2013. The candidates who are eligible for admission should hurry up for submission of application forms and ready for appearing in the entry test.

PU Declares Admissions in BS Physical Education 2013

Lahore, Department of Physical Education & Sports Sciences of University of the Punjab has announced admission in the BS Physical Education for its spring semester 2013 (4 years semester system) for regular morning programs. The candidates should submit the application forms till February 15, 2013.

The candidates who have passed their FSc exams will be given 5 marks in their merit score and if the candidate has won any sports event at inter-board or inter college level then he will also be given 5 marks in their merit total marks. The candidates who completed their late session then two marks will be deducted to maximum of two sessions.

The candidates should get admission forms from their concerned department located at the new campus from January 14, 2013 except Saturday and Sunday.

All Pakistan 14th Annual Science Fair 2013

Islamabad, Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering and Technology is organizing All Pakistan 14th annual two days Science Fair today on January 16, 2013 and it will be continued till January 17, 2013.

According to the detailed information, this fair will be consisted of two group including science exhibition and science contest.

Government of Sindh is going to install biometric/GPRS systems in different government schools and colleges for analyzing the decreasing number of students in the schools and the absence of the teachers. Sindh Education Minister Pir Mazhar ul Haq told the participants of the meeting. It is decided that the biometric system/GPRS is installed in the government schools and colleges on the basis of one boys school and college and one girls school and college at tehsil level.

Sindh Education Minister has also disclosed that there are about 268 colleges and different schools in which libraries will be updated very soon.

FCC Students Participate in 3rd Annual All Pakistan GSC Shield Competition

Lahore, 3rd annual All Pakistan GSC Shield Competition was conducted in Gomal University which was held from January 02 to 04, 2013. Teams of over 20 educational institutions contested in the competition along with students of Forman Christian College who took part in different categories.

According to the details, Muhammad Momin Khan took part in English serious category and won the first position and he was awarded with gold medal in this competition while Usama Hameed Tarar contested in the Urdu Serious category and won the third position and he was also awarded with bronze medal. Hamza Mustafa is another student of Forman Christian College who contested in the competition of Urdu Humorous.

On the other side, Rabia Mehboob won the bronze medal in the squash tournament while getting third position in the squash competition. The competition was under 32nd National Games 2012. Rabia is also the member of Squash team of Higher Education Commission and on winning the bronze medal, she received appreciation from all quarters including her own college.

KU Declares Annual Exams Schedule MBBS & BDS

Karachi, Karachi University has declared that the annual exams of MBBS and BDS are going to start tomorrow on January 16, 2013.

According to the complete schedule of the annual exams of MBBS and BDS classes, the first professional MBBS annual exams for the year 2013 will be conducted from January 16 to 30, 2013 and the annual exams of second professional MBBS will be conducted from January 18 to 29, 2013.

Similarly, the first professional annual exams of BDS class will be conducted from January 17 to February 02, 2013 and the second professional annual exams of BDS will be conducted from January 19 to February 04, 2013.

FCC Declares Admission in BA/BSc (Hons) 2013 for limited seats

Lahore, Forman Christian College has started admission in BA (Hons) and BSc (Hons) in Business and Computing programs for the year 2013 which is given on limited seats in Business and Computing programs.

The candidates can submit their application forms online with their computer generated tracking numbers on application forms. The candidates must have completed their intermediate exams with 50% marks or above or completed their at least 3 A levels should apply for admission till January 25, 2013 as the classes are going to be started from February 11, 2013.

The candidates should submit the photocopies of NIC of the applicant and his father/guardian, two recent passport size photo graphs, matric/intermediate certificates, bank draft of Rs.1500 in favour of Forman Christian College to the admission office of the college.

MPhil & PhD Admissions Open in UVAS for 2013

Lahore, Admissions are opened in the programs like MPhil & PhD for the year 2013 in the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore. The University has advised the candidates to submit their admission forms till January 21, 2013.

The UVAS has offered admission in the disciplines of Epidemiology & Public Health, Physiology, Parasitology, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Anatomy & Histology and Pathology & Clinical Medicine.

The candidates who have cleared their 16 years of education or 4 years education (130 credit hours) after passing their Intermediate or minimum 50% marks in annual system or minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in their semester system in their respective fields are come up to eligibility criteria of the admission. The candidates have also cleared their GAT (General) Test by NTS before start of the admission process.
