Punjab University examination department has issued the MBBS annual exams 2013 schedule. According to notification, the exams will start from following schedule. 1st professional part 1 annual exams from Oct 03, first professional part 2 MBBS annual exams from Oct 22, 2nd professional MBBS annual exams from 1st Oct, third professional MBBS annual exams 2013 from Oct 23 and final professional MBBS annual exams 2013 will start from Nov 30, 2013.
Supply exams 2013 of B.Com, BIT part 1 and 2 fee and form submission schedule has been announced by GCU. Candidates can submit their forms with single, double and triple fees from 25th Sep to 7th Oct, 8th to 11th Oct and 14th to 16th Oct, respectively, according to notification from additional controller examination.
In UOS, the date of admission form submission in BS, MSC, MPhil and PhD programs has been extended. According to chairman admission committee, desired candidates can submit their admission forms till Oct 05, 2013, in their concerned departments. First merit list will be displayed on 7th Oct 2013, second on 10th Oct, 2013 while third merit list will be displayed on 12 Oct 2013, in all the programs. For admissions in MPhil, MS, MSC (Hons) and PhD programs, entry test will be conducted on 7th Oct, 2013, while for candidates of sports-based admission; trials will be held on 9th Oct, 2013. On the University sub-campuses of Mianwali and Bhakkar, this schedule will also apply, but it will not apply on University law College.
For form submission of students, all the departments/institutes and admission information stalls will remain open on 28th Sep (Saturday) up to 4pm, according to Punjab University notification. The admission stalls will close at 1pm while administrative departments of the university will remain open till 4pm, on 27th Sep.
Today, 25th Sep is the last date for BA/BSC form submission without late fees of supply exams 2013, under Baha ud Din Zakrya University. Also, with the completion of admission date in Zakrya University, the preparation of MA/MSC candidates’ merit list has been started. Merit list will be pasted today at 25th Sep and fees could be submitted till 26th Sep. Also, the 2nd merit list will be on 27th Sep and fees submission is till 30th Sep, while the 3rd merit list will be pasted on 1st Oct and fees can be submitted till 4th Oct. According to the schedule, first merit list of MA/MSC evening classes will be pasted on 7th Oct and 2nd on 9th Oct.
Under UHS, entry test for medical students’ admission was conducted in UOG, under the supervision of UHS representative Dr. M Aslam, member board of revenue Tariq Mehmood and DCO Asif Bilal Lodhi. In this entry test, total 1500 students have participated, of which 1058 were female and 442 were male. In the presence of admin officers and UHS representative, sealed boxes of examination papers were opened according to schedule, the test started at proper time and the solved papers were sent for checking after sealing at the end.

By hand, last date for form submission with single fee is 24-10-13 and by post is 10-10-13, while by hand; forms can be submitted with double fees till 07-11-13 and by post is 21-10-13. Lahore, For admission in medical/ dental institution of the Punjab, UHS Lahore is going to organize the MCAT Entrance Test on Sep 22, 2013 at 20 centers in 12 cities of Punjab province at the same time. The test will start at 9:00 am. For ease of students, the University has made distribution of students roll no. wise at different centers. Roll no. slips have already been distributed to eligible students by University.
On Sep 22, 2013, on 8:00 am, all the candidates must reach their respective centers who have got their Admittance cards issued by the university. Nobody will be allowed to enter the examination center after 8:15 am and the centers will be closed at that time. Students should identify their exact location of the center a day earlier.
Candidates must bring their admittance cards on 22nd Sep. Entrance test will be held simultaneously at Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Hassanabdal, Multan Rahim Yar Khan, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Gujrat and DG Khan.
Under the initiative of Aghaz e Haqooq Baluchistan package, Higher Education Commission Islamabad has started Indigenous scholarships for MS/MPhil leading to PhD programs for Baluchistan students.
If the candidates have domicile/local from Baluchistan province, 16 years of education or equivalent degree, minimum of 45% marks than they are eligible while those having third division, can also apply. In local Gat (General) test conducted by NTS in Pakistan, candidates must have secured at least 50 valid marks. From HEC recognized University/DAIs located in Baluchistan province, at least two certificates must have been studied in and obtained.
The required documents are attested photocopies of all educational testimonials, attested photocopy of CNIC, domicile, copy of PEC registration for engineering discipline (If applicable), copy of PMDC registration for Medical discipline (If applicable). Candidates should attach all these necessary documents with admission forms.
With assurance from their employer that if scholarship is awarded, they will be released immediately and after completion of studies, they will serve at parent department/Universities/Colleges; in-service (Govt. employees) candidates need to apply through proper channel. NOC from the organization must be provided before Oct 20, 2013, while advance copies will be accepted.
