The admissions for the Autumn Semester in the Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad continue for PhD, MS and MPhil and for this reason the last date for application submission is 12^th July 2013.  According to the news admission forms and Prospectus will be made available on the University’s website and 500 will also be charged as a processing fee.

It is to be noted that the above mentioned admissions of PhD programs announced as open are on the basis of MPhil and MS and the admissions are in Pakistani Languages with specialization in Balouchi, Pashto, Sindhi, Saraiki, Brahul, Punjabi, Sindhi and in Urdu and Literature, Islamic Studies (General), Iqbal Studies and Islamic Studies (Quran and Tafseer) and Chemistry which is offered in Islamabad only.

It has been announced that the results have been declared by the Islamia University and made available on the website result.pk so that the students can see them online. The declared results are Second Annual Examination 2011 and First Annual Examination accordingly. The total number of students succeeding in the exams was 1623 out of total 3517 students with a percentage of 46.14%. Talking about the results of Second Annual 2011 the number of successful students out of 5318 were 1800 which makes the result percentage to be 33.85% precisely.

Karachi, Karachi University has announced the results of annual exams of B.Ed (Morning program) and BSc (Pass) Part I for the year 2012.

According to the details of the result, about 916 candidates were registered with the University and 900 students appeared in the exams, out of which 460 candidates passed the exams. the percentage of the passing students remains at 51.11 percent. In the result of BSc (Pass) Part 1 annual exams, about 2249  candidates were appeared in the exams, out of which 2159 appeared in the exams and about 676 candidates were declared successful with the percentage of 31.31 percent.

Government College University Lahore has announced that the admissions in the BSc (Hons) in Applied Management is going to be started for the year 2013. The University offers admissions in the 4 years business degree, which is upgraded from 2 years bachelor degree.

The interested candidates should download the admission forms or obtain from the admission office of the University and submit to the admission office within shortest possible time. The candidates will have to appear in GCUMAT/GMAT and they will have to appear before the selection committee for panel interview. The candidates should get registered with the university by sending an SMS with name, program of interest and email address on mobile number 0335-7444002.

The eligible candidates will have passed the 2 years bachelor program or equivalent qualification, or 2^nd division or 2.3 CGPA. The university also accepted the credit transfer. The candidates with the work experience will be given preference and the result awaiting candidates are also invited to apply.
