Karachi, KMDC Karachi is going to start the admission process in the MBBS and BDS classes for the new academic session of 2014-15. Karachi Medical and Dental College starts admission process for the eligible students on the open merit and on the self-finance basis. The admission process is started from 27 August and the last date for the issue of the admission forms will be 09 September. The candidates can send their admission forms till 11 September. The interviews of the students will be started after checking of the admission forms and the students will be selected after interviews. The final selection of the eligible candidates will be done after their interviews. The students are asked to get the admission forms at their earliest, which are available from the admission office of KMDC.

Hyderabad, University of Sindh starts admission process in the bachelor and master degree programs in the main campus and all other campuses across Sindh. Sindh University starts admissions in the bachelor degree and master degree programs and the admission process will be started from 02 September.

Director of Admissions of Sindh University confirms that the admission forms will be issued to the students from 02 September and this process will be continued till 19 September. The candidates can send their admission forms to the main auditorium till 26 September. Then the entry test of the eligible candidates will be started and the entry test of the master degree program students will be held on 19 October and the entry test of the bachelor degree programs will be conducted on 02 November. The students deposit the challan fee of Rs.1500 in the nominated branches of Habib Bank Limited, then they can get the admission forms. While submitting the admission forms, they will have to get the admit slips of the students. The students, who want to get admission in the bachelor and master degree programs, they are advised to get the admission forms at their earliest.

The results of B.Com (private) part 2 and part 1 & 2 composite annual exams 2013 have been announced by University of Karachi. According to details; 1st position is taken by Mariam Rahman d/o Saeed-ur-Rahman (r.n. 51070), 2nd position is grabbed by Fatima Bano d/o Abdul Ghafoor (r.n. 50835) and 3rd position is achieved by Nimra Fatima d/o Iftikhar Ahmed Qureshi (r.n. 52014). 8839 students in total appeared in these exams out of which 1st division is achieved by 123 students, 2nd division is taken by 113 students while 3rd division passing students remained 02. The results of MA/MSC (part 1 & 2) annual exams 2014 have been announced by University of Balochistan on 21^st August 2014. Multan, Entry test for the engineering disciplines will be conducted on 24 August in all engineering universities of Punjab including BZU Multan. The entry test will be started at 10 am and it will comprised of 100 minutes. The entry test of engineering disciplines will be conducted in 7 blocks and in 86 test centers, in which about 6000 students will participate. The student will reach the test centers at 09 am and they will have to pass through the walk-through gates, which are established at the entry gates of test centers.

All the Engineering Universities have started the admission process in different engineering disciplines and they have received the admission forms. Now all the engineering universities are going to conduct the entry test of the eligible candidates. Prof Dr Shabbir Attique, Principal of Engineering College has been appointed as the city coordinator and Dr Abdul Sattar Malik, Chairman of Electrical Engineering Department has been appointed as the focal person.
