The announcement has been made by Karachi University for session 2014 admission in PhD, MPhil, MD and MS.
The admission are open in faculty of Science: Zoology, Statistics, Physiology, Physics, Microbiology, Geology, Geography, Genetics, food Science & Technology, Computer, Chemistry, Biotech, Biochemistry, Botany, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry and Agriculture & Agribusiness. In Faculty of Arts, it is opened in Urdu, Social Work, Sociology, Sindhi, Psychology, Political Science, Philosophy, Persian, Mass Communication, Islamic History, IR, General History, English literature, English linguistics, Economics and Arabic.
For PhD, the criterion is MS, MPhil, LLM, M.Pharm or equivalent from a recognized university. MBBS, BDS or equivalent along with 1 year house job is the requirement for MD and MS admissions while the eligibility for M.Phil is 16 years of education in 2nd division from HEC recognized university.
KU website has the option to download admission forms and prospectus. Application forms with processing fee and required documents must be submitted between 28th May and 9th June 2014.
List of KU Entrance Test eligible candidates will be displayed on June 14, 2014 and the test will be held on 22nd of June at 10am.
