Karachi, Board of Intermediate Education Karachi has announced that they have prepared the original certificates of CT, PTC, HSC and Diploma in Physical Education and ask the students to get their original certificates from June 10, 2013. These certificates are prepared for the students, who have passed their annual and supply exams for the year 2010 from the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi.

The candidates can download the application forms from the website of the board. The candidates can submit the application forms in room number 14 of the office of the board.

Lahore, Punjab University Lahore is going to start the exams of 3^rd and 5^th semester of the Associate Degree in Education exams for the year 2013. Now the University has announced complete schedule for the semester exams for the year 2013 and asked the candidates to forward their admission forms with single fee till June 10, 2013 and with double fee till June 13, 2013.

The University will announce the date for the beginning of the 3^rd and 5^th semester Associate Degree in Education for the exams 2013 in due course of time.

Lahore, UVAS Lahore is going to issue Nestle scholarships on the basis of need cum merit in the Faculty of Animal Production and Technology in the disciplines of BS (Hons) Dairy Technology and DVM.

The candidates should forward applications on the plain paper supporting with the required documents for grant of Nestle need-based scholarship for the undergraduate students of DVM and BS (Hons) Dairy Technology. The University has also advised to the candidates to provide copies of utility bills for electricity, water and gas, certificate issued from union council or town council signed by Nazim/councilor, income certificate of parent signed by the Employer and it should also be recommended or forwarded by the concerned tutor or class in charge.

The candidates should complete the application forms and submit them to Dean Faculty of Animal and Production Technology till June 17, 2013 and the candidates should also produce letter to this affect that they are not getting scholarship or fund from any other source. The university has been provided with grant of Rs.400 million for the execution of 43 research programs for the year 2012-13.

Peshawar, University of Peshawar has decided to finish the evening shift of the BS program from September this year. The evening shift of BS program was started at the University in 2009.

The vice chancellor of the University that they are going to close the evening shift of BS programs as they could not generate the desired result from this evening program for which this shift was started. He also said that he wanted to improve the standard of education in the university and this evening shift became the burden on the university to improve the quality of education in the university. The university is also trying to produce more PhD degrees in the university to raise the quality of education. At present, there are 220 teachers, who have completed their PhD degrees and 340 teachers are going to complete their research papers leading to the PhD degrees.
