BS 4-Years Program for the year 2013 first semester exams forms and fee schedule has been announced. According to the schedule, the candidates can submit their exams forms with single fee till March 11, 2013 and they can also submit the admission forms with double fee till March 15, 2013.
Karachi, The Department of Examination of University of Karachi has announced complete schedule to conduct the overseas exams of MA, BA. B.Com, which will be started in the end of the April 2013. It is also announced that the date of BSc Statistics Part I & II practical exams will be held on March 04 and 07, 2013. The students who have desire to appear in the practical exams, can deposit the practical exams fee of Rs.250 at the silver jubilee gate branch of the University. Karchi, Matric class Part I & II, practical and theory exams for the year 2013 of Karachi Board of Secondary Education are going to be started from March 11 and these exams will be continued till March 29, 2013.
According to the details of the exams, the practical exams of Science group for both 9th and 10th classes will be started from March 11 and the theory exams of Matric class for science and general group will be started from April 08, 2013. The students, who did not pass the practical exams of the same class in the last attempt, they are advised to appear in this practical exams with the regular students.
Cadet College Hassan Abdaal started admission process in the 1st year class. The college normally offers admission in the 8th classes but some of the students left the college due to some reasons so there are about 30 vacancies on which the college is going to offer admissions. The written test of the candidates will be conducted in the subject like English with the duration of one hour and 30 minutes, the papers of Mathematics or Biology with the duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes and the papers of Chemistry or Physics with the duration of 2 hours will be conducted on July 15, 2013. The interviews and the medical test will also be done on the same date.
The students who will be granted admissions in the college will have to deposit fee of Rs.1,41,229.00 for the expenses of tuition, electricity, medical, shoes & cloth repairing, haircutting, washing, messing and the mess services, hostel and event management. The students will also have to deposit Rs.10000 on account of building fund and education for Rs.500 at the time of admission.

The “Kashmir Story of Struggle” debate has been conducted on February 27, 2013 and it was managed by the Department of Political and Center for South Asian Studies of the University of Punjab. The debate on the Kashmir issue was conducted in the Al-Raazi Hall of the Undergraduate studies of the University. the ex-Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Barrister SDultan Mahmood, ex-Foreign Secretary of Pakistan, Shamshad Ahmed Khan and the prominent Kashmiri leader, Yaseen Malik addressed with the moot. Faisalabad, Vice Chancellor of Agricultural University Faisalabad, Prof Iqrar Ahmed Khan has announced that the University will launch three new undergraduate programs in this academic year in the University. He disclosed while addressing with the academic council meeting and hoped that the University will also start the associate degree in Feed Technology along with the BSc degree in the programs of International Relations and Software Engineering. Faisalabad, The spring admissions for the distant learning education has been started by the Government College University Faisalabad for the year 2013. Lahore, Lahore University has started admissions in the short courses of AutoCAD and Pro/Engineer (Creo) in the main campus at 1-Raiwind Road Lahore. the candidates who have passed their matriculation exams with enough field experience and are engineers, diploma holders and certificate holders are eligible to apply for admission in the relevant fields.
The candidates can collect the admission forms from Mr Irfan Akra from Mechanical Engineering Department and submit them to the office till March 08, 2013. The candidates of AutoCAD (Electrical, Mechanical and Civil) may deposit fee of Rs.5000 for each module and the candidates for Pro/Engineers may deposit fee of Rs.7000. The duration of the courses will be 4 weeks and classes for AutoCAD students will be held from 05:30 pm to 07:30 pm while the classes for Pro/Engineer will be held from 05:00 pm to 07:30 pm. Lahore, University of the Punjab has conducted the book launching ceremony in the University for the book titled “Suno Pyari Beti”. The author of this book is Razina Alam Khan and this event was taken place on February 26, 2013 at the Al-Raazi Hall of the Undergraduate Study center of the University at about 10:30 am. The politician, Mariam Nawaz Sharif and the Vice Chancellor of the Punjab University Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran and other people attended the event.
Earlier, the celebration of the book having title of “Minhaj-ul-Furqan” was taken place. The author of this book is Allama Khizer Yasin and the event was being arranged at the Al-Raazi Hall of the Undergraduate Study Center of the University. The Punjab Univesity Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran was the chief guest during the celebration of the book. Director Iqbal Academy Pakistan Sohail Omer, famous writers Sajjad Mir, Orya Maqbool Jan, Khawaja Imran Nazir, MPA of Pakistan Muslim League (N) were also present there during the celebration of the book.
