KU Introduces Institute of Chinese Language

Karachi, Vice Chancellor of Karachi University, Prof Dr Muhammad Qaiser has announced that the Institute of Chinese Language is going to be established in the University.

Prof Dr. Muhammad Qaiser was on the tour of Sichuan Normal University China with Prof Dr. Mansoor Ahmed, Registrar of Karachi University.

The aim of the establishment of Chinese Language Institute is to provide the students facility of understanding the Chinese language while attending the advanced course free of cost from the Sichuan Normal University China.

A Memorandum of Understanding was also signed between Karachi University and Sichuan Normal University China at this occasion.

Admission Open in PGD Statistics at KU

Karachi, Admission process is opened in the Postgraduate diplomas in Statistics in Karachi University. The admission forms are available in the relevant department and the students who want to take admission in the postgraduate diploma courses at Karachi University in Statistics department should report to the concerned department and obtain admission forms. The students will have to submit the admission forms on or before December 21, 2012 after completing them fully.

The concerned administration of the University will display the list of eligible candidates on the notice board of the department on December 26, 2012. The admitted students will have to deposit the admission fee from December 27, 2012 to January 04, 2013 and classes for PGD courses will be started from January 07, 2013.

This is the one year course which will be conducted from 03:00 pm to 05:30 pm and the students who will complete this course with their BA/BSc/B.Com in Biological Sciences will be eligible for grant of admission in Masters in Computer Sciences and MA/MSc in Statistics.

First Open Mic Night Organize at FCC

Lahore, Formanite Music Society has arranged first ever Open Mic Night at E-025 in Foreman Christian College Lahore on December 07, 2012. The House Band society has arranged this musical concert which was attended by a large number of students along with teaching staff.

The ‘House Band’ society consisting of Ali Abbas (President), Shahruck Sherwani (General Secretary/Director) and Hamza Butt (Event Manager/Director) who made strenuous efforts for conducting this memorable event and made it successful. They also made arrangements for the audition of the students for including them into the event management and gave them chance to take p[art in the event as signers. They sang popular songs with the innovative deliveries.

MBA and M.Sc Rural Development Exams Schedule Declare by SU

Jamshoro, Director of Institute of Business Administration of Sindh University Dr. Imamuddin Khoso has announced the exams schedule of MBA (Evening) final semester for which the papers for final semesters are going to be carried out from December 12, 14, 18 and 20 whereas the papers of fifth semesters will be held from December 13, 17 and 19.

According to the details of the exams, the students of old course should contact with the department of Business Administration with Assistant Prof. Nazir Ahmed Gopang on December 10 & 11, 2012.  The students should complete their examination forms for appearing in the exams 2012.

Controller of Examinations Dr. Naeem Tariq Narejo has announced the exams schedule for MSc Rural Development (Previous & Final External Programs) for the year 2012. According to the details, the students who want to appear in the exams should deposit the exams fee according to the fee schedule for MSc (Previous) for Rs.2950 and for MSc (final) for Rs.3750. the students will also be informed about their viva voce just after completion of the papers.

PU Declares Results MSc Physics & Gender Studies 2012

Lahore, Punjab University, examination department has announced the annual results of MSc Physics Part II and MSc Gender Studies part I of the annual exams for the year 2012.

The concerned administration of the university has displayed the results of both faculties on the notice board of the concerned departments as well as uploaded on the website of the university.

Moreover, the Department of Political Science and Center for South Asian Studies have jointly conducted the one day seminar on the title of “Human Rights in 21st Century”. The seminar was conducted on December 10, 2012 on Monday in the Al-Raazi Hall of the University at 10 am in the morning. The main speaker of the event was the Deputy Director of Human Rights and Minorities Affairs Department, Mr. Muhammad Yousaf who also delivered their lectures to the audience on this occasion.

PU Declares Exams Schedule MSc Home Economics

Lahore, The annual exams of MSc Home Economics Part I & II is going to be conducted by the Punjab University examination department for the year 2012 for which they have issued complete exams schedule.

The students of MSc Home Economics have been informed through registered mail and roll number slips have also been dispatched to them through registered mail. The candidates can also check these information related to the exams of MSc Home Economics on the website of the University.

First Merit List of Admissions in SSUET

Karachi,  The admission process is commenced in Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology in the five faculties of engineering including Telecommunication, Computer, Civil, Biomedical and Electronics. The first list of the candidates has been displayed by the concerned department on their notice board along with uploaded on the website of the University.

According to the details of the admission process, about 300 candidates have been given admissions in computer science, 200 in Electronic Engineering, 200 in computer Engineering, 100 in Telecommunication Engineering, 120 in Civil Engineering and 100 in Bio Medical Engineering. About 4300 candidates appeared in the entrance test from which only 1020 candidates have been selected which is given admissions in the aforementioned disciplines.

The University administration has also informed the successful students on their mailing address as the new classes are going to be started from January 07, 2013.

PU Starts Admissions in Sheikh Zayed Islamic Center Postgraduate Diplomas

Lahore, Punjab University has started admission process for postgraduate diploma courses in different faculties like Islamic Law, Islamic Banking and Finance and Lugatul Quran in its Sheikh Zayed Islamic Center. The candidates are instructed to get admission, receive admission forms from the concerned department during office hours and submit them after completing them till December 21, 2012.

The application for admission in the postgraduate diplomas will not be considered after expiry of the due date.

Now they don’t have to wait for it long because Karachi Board declared HSSC Part-I Result 2012 for private and regular students in Humanities Group. Karachi Board students are able to check their FA Result online via www.biseresult.pk.

Admission 2012-13 Starts in FJMC University Lahore

Lahore, Admissions in 1st class MBBS for the year 2012-13 is going to be started in Fatima Jinnah Medical College University Lahore. The students who have attained marks 60% or more in their FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent exams with Biology, Chemistry and Physics from the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen and willing are hereby advised to get admission forms from the main office of the University and complete them. The students should submit their admission forms till December 15, 2012.

National Testing Service is the responsible body for conducting testing services in various institutions along with various other companies and providing them testing services in the departments. NTS has been given the responsibilities for conducting entry test in the University on December 23, 2012 and when NTS announces the final result then this university will be able to announce the final list of the candidates for admission in the 1st year MBBS class.

According to the rules and procedures of Federal Government Service Civil Employees as contained in the Schedule I & II of rules of Business 1973, the real daughters of the federal government employees will be granted admission in the 1st year MBBS class against seven reserved seats.
