Shikarpur, Admissions are opened in the disciplines of MS, MPhil and PhD classes for the year 2012-13 in Shah Abdul Latif University Shikarpur Campus.

The Deputy Registrar of the Shikarpur campus has already announced that the admission forms for grant of admission in the faculties of Pakistan Studies, Urdu, Political Science, International Relations, Public Administration, Botany, Computer Science, Chemistry, Archaeology, Bio-Chemistry, Commerce, Zoology, Economics, English, Statistics and Microbiology by showing the bank challan receipt of Rs.500.

The admission offered in the following department in the first phase for four year Bachelor programs including Business Administration, Computer Science and Information Technology and Commerce. The Shikarpur campus of the university established with academic excellence and it also offered 4 years bachelor degree course in the disciplines of Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology and Commerce.

Admission Spring 2013 Starts by NDU Islamabad

Islamabad, Admissions are opened in the faculties of MSc, MPhil and PhD classes for the year 2013 in National Defence University Islamabad. The candidates are hereby instructed to obtain admission forms from the main office of the university and submit them in the office within stipulated period.

National Defence University Islamabad consists of two colleges like Armed Forces War College and National Security College. The colleges of Command & Staff College Quetta, Air War College Karachi and Naval War College Lahore are also affiliated with the National Defence University Lahore.

Tests Hold for Primary, Junior & High School Teachers

Karachi, the Education Department of Sindh has announced that the tests for different categories of teachers will be conducted by NTS. The National Testing service issued their schedule for conducting tests for the appointment of teachers on different posts.

The tests for the appointment of high schools teachers will be conducted on December 23, 2012, the tests for the teachers for junior schools will be conducted on December 29 and 30, 2012 while the tests for appointment of primary school teachers will be held on January 06 and 09, 2013. The students keep in their mind that the tests will be conducted on tehsil and district levels.

20,000 Candidates Appeared in KU Aptitude Test

Karachi, Admission process for granting admission in Bachelor (Hons) and master programs is continued in which aptitude test was conducted in the University of Karachi for the classes commencing next year. About 20,000 students appeared in the exams and the process of the aptitude test was remained cool and calm.

The Admission Director Prof Dr Khalid Iraqi said that the next stage of admission for reserved and self-finance basis will be started from December 10, 2012.

Federal Govt Set Up Cadet College in Kandhkot

Karachi, To meet the demand of the local people of Kandhkot, Kashmoor district, Federal government has announced the establishment of Cadet College in Kandhkot.

Federal Minister for inter-provincial coordination, Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani gave detailed briefing to the media that the government has acquired land of 144 acres for the subject purpose and started construction of Cadet College. The government has reserved amount of 500 million rupees for the construction of the college but it is estimated that there will be 1 billion rupees expenditure on the construction of the college for having capacity of 600 cadets.

In the beginning 60 cadets will be given admission in the cadet college but every year batch of 60 cadets will be included in the colleges so far the total strength of the college will be increased to 600 cadets.

Spring Semester Admissions 2013 in Sindh University

Hyderabad, the Education department of Sindh University has started admission in Spring Semester 2013 in the disciplines of B. Ed, M. Ed and MA Education (Morning & Evening).

According to the schedule for admission in spring semester 2013, the candidates who want to get admission in these disciplines should obtain admission forms from Habib Bank Limited Old campus branch Hyderabad on cash payment of Rs.300. the students submit the admission forms in the same branch of Habib Bank Limited on or before December 24, 2012. The candidates who will be given admission, their names will be displayed on December 27, 2012 and the admission fee will be deposited in the Habib Bank Limited, old campus branch Hyderabad on or before December 30, 2012. After completing of the admission process, the classes will be started from January 03, 2013.

Sindh Decides Establish its Own HEC

Karachi, A draft bill has been approved by the Sindh government to present in the regular session of the Sindh Assembly for the establishment of their own Higher Education Commission.

The bill contains that the provision of 18th amendment empowered them to establish their own HEC and make necessary legislation for the formation of HEC and it has also assigned them the task of curriculum development, Sindh Madrassah tul Islam College, Dawood College of Engineering and Technology and Higher education /HEC. the decision for the establishment of HEC has been made in the meeting held in the Chief Minister Secretariat which was chaired by the Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah.

PU Arranges Laptop Distribution Ceremony on Dec 14

Lahore, According to the Punjab Government Laptop distribution scheme, now about 8,500 laptops will be distributed among the talented and intelligent students of different department of Punjab University. The University administration has made special arrangements for conducting the laptop distribution ceremony on December 14, 2012.

Vice Chancellor of Punjab University, Dr. Mujahid Kamran who is also the head of the committee which is reviewing the laptop distribution ceremony held a meeting in which deans, principals and heads of all departments were present. The ceremony will be conducted in the Al-Raazi Hall of the Undergraduate Study Center in which laptops will be distributed among newly admitted students of both morning and evening sessions and students of 3rd year, 5th year, M.Phil and PhD disciplines.

BISE Rwp SSC Starts Annual Exams 2013 from Feb 23

Rawalpindi, All Boards Chairmen held a meeting in Dera Ghazi Khan on November 22, 2012 in which it was decided that the annual exams 2013 of matriculation classes will be conducted on the same date which is February 23, 2012 in all Educational board of the province. In the compliance of this decision, Rawalpindi board has announced the commencement of matric class exams 2013 from February 23, 2013.

The board administration has instructed that the students of Part I & II can deposit their registration fee till December 24, 2012 through online and if the students fail to deposit their registration fee in time then they will have to deposit late fee with their regular fee of the exams.

Balochistan Conducts Inter Annual Exams 2013 from April 09

Quetta, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Quetta has announced the schedule for holding the annual exams 2013 of intermediate level. The annual exams of FA/FSc classes will be started from April 09, 2013 and the students will be informed in this regard later on.

Quetta Board has the mandate to maintain education standard and conduct the examination of matric and intermediate classes in all government and private schools come under its jurisdiction.
