Scholarship Gave Away to over 300 Needy Students

Peshawar, Islamia College University Peshawar has celebrated their diamond jubilee celebration in the Takbir hall of the University in which former governor of KPK, Lieutenant General (r) Ali Muhammad Jan Orakzai was the chief guest. During the celebration and different other programs, more than 300 students including 250 boys and 50 girls have been awarded with scholarships in recognizing their brilliant performance during the academic year and to meet the requirements of the needy students.

The former governor said while delivering his speech on the occasion that the students are the future of the country and they should get quality education as they would have to lead the nation in different field. If they are well educated then they will give the country progress and prosperity. The students should get education not taking it as a burden on their lives but as a moral duty for their own betterment as well as for the country.

Elimination of Evening Shift in Capital Schools

Islamabad, About two decades ago, the evening or second shift in all government schools was introduced to accommodate the increasing number of students as there was less number of schools who could not cope with the increasing number of students.

Now the previous Prime Minister issued orders for the elimination of second or evening shift from all schools situated in Islamabad. Due to some problems this decision was not adopted and action was not taken on this plan.

Now the Federal Directorate of Education has said that the Minister of Capital Administration and Development has issued necessary directive to act on the decision. By implementing this decision the FDE authority has made strategy to work on the elimination of evening class in different phases. In the first phase, the classes from one to five will be eliminated during April 2013. In the second phase program, the classes of 6th and 7thj will be eliminated during April 2014 and in the final phase of the plan the classes from 8th to 10th will be eliminated

It is also decided that the students of all eliminated classes will be adjusted in other schools near to their residence.

Date Sheet for Different Exams Issue by Punjab University

Lahore, Punjab University is going to start different exams in different faculties for which the examination department has issued date sheets and roll number slips to the concerned candidates. The examination department issued date sheets of various exams including Second Semester Examination, 2012 of BS 4 Years Program, First Year BS in Computer Science 2nd annual examination 2011 & 1st annual examination 2012, B.Com Part-I and II, 2nd annual examination 2012, Second Year BS in Computer Sciences 2nd annual examination 2011 & 1st annual examination 2012, Fourth Semester Examination, 2012 of BS 4 Years Program, Third Year BS in Computer Science 2nd annual examination 2011 & 1st annual examination 2012, Fourth Year BS in Computer Science 2nd annual examination 2011 & 1st annual examination 2012, Second Year MSc I.T 2nd annual examination 2011 and 1st annual examination 2012, First Year MSc I.T 2nd annual examination 2011 & 1st annual examination 2012.

The Practical Examination of B.Ed 2nd annual examination, 2011 & 1st annual examination, 2012 in the subject of Biology (A&B) were going to held on November 09, 2012 will now these practical papers will be held on November 16, 2012. The information regarding groups, time and venue will remain the same as already mentioned.

NUST Student Attended WEF as Youngest Participant

Islamabad, A young 21 years old student, Malik Shahriyar studying at National University of Sciences and technology become the youngest participant in the World Economic Forum which was held from November 6 to 8, 2012 in India.

WEF is an independent organization which is functioning for the betterment and improvement of the economics situation in almost all countries of the world. During this recent forum, almost 500 politicians, government officials and businessmen have attended this forum to share their view and the possible solutions of the economic crises in the world.

Mailk Shahriyar has already developed his own Youth Economic Forum this year with other colleagues as an economics student. He has done his efforts for fulfilling the gap between the youth and the economic policy making and in this way he attend the World Economic Forum.

Punjab University Starts IBA Admission 2013

Lahore, University of The Punjab, Institute of Business Administration has announced the commencement of Admission 2013 for MBA evening classes and PGD. The administration of the University has instructed the students to obtain admission forms from the department of Business Administration which will be available from November 12, 2012 and submit them duly completed in all respects and submit to the office of the Institute of Business Administration till November 30, 2012.

The students have also been instructed to attach photo copies of all academic credentials and other related documents with the examination applications and submit the application forms within stipulated period. After the scrutiny of documents and examination applications, the eligible candidates will have to appear in an entry test which will be held on December 02, 2012. The candidates who qualify in the entry test will have to appear before the selection committee for an interview from where the qualified candidates will be granted admission in the relevant faculty for which they have applied for.

Karachi University Last Date for submission of Examination Forms for MA/double MA (Private)

Karachi, The University of Karachi was announced the examinations of MA/double MA (private) and for the students who seek improvement in the division for which registration forms were accepted from the students. Now the University administration has accorded extension in the last date for submission of examination forms for MA/double MA (private) candidates which will be December 17, 2012.

The University administration instructed to the students for submission of examination forms along with payment of regular fee of Rs.2500 before closing of the final date. The students can also change their subjects simply by the payment of Rs.500 each subject.

FUUAST Declares Result of BA (Private) Annual Exams 2012

Karachi, The annual result of BA (private) exams 2012 2nd years has been announced by the examination department of FUUAST. The result of BA (Private) pertains with the student living in Karachi, Islamabad, Tararkhal and Rawalakot. The examination department of FUUAST has released the statistics of the exams according to which only 1078 candidates got their registration for appearing in the exams and 1047 candidates appeared in the exams. 840 candidates passed the annual exams of BA (private) 2nd year.

The department of Microbiology of Federal Urdu University for Arts Sciences and Technology has also make arrangement for a two day national conference on the topic of Microbiology. The conference starts from November 07, 2012 and lasts for two days at the Gulshan Campus. The conference will be presided over by Prof Dr Muhammad Qaisar who is the Vice Chancellor of FUUAST and the chief guest will be the renowned scholar and former Chairman of Higher Education Commission Prof Dr. Atta ur Rehman who addresses the congregation of the students on the occasion.

PEC Announces Date Sheet of 8th Class 2013

The Punjab government established the Punjab Education Commission in the year 2005 with the objective to examine the education standard in all educational institutes of the province at class 5th and class8th level. The mandate of the PEC is to hold exams of both 5th and 8th classes every year. It has also been decided that the 5th class exams will be held during November and 8th class later on. The commission has issued necessary instructions to all educational institutions to get registered all their students of 5th class immediately so that further process will be initiated. Now the commission is going to announce the date sheet of 8th class for which exams will be conducted according to that date sheet.

The commission will issue the date sheets and roll number slips to all students enrooting their educational institutions to participate in the examination which will be started during next year. The students can also download their date sheets and roll number slips from the website of the PEC. The students of the all districts of the Punjab will be included in the 5th class and 8th class examination like Rawalpindi, Attock, Kasur, Kahnewal, Sargodha, Jhelum, Chakwal, Bahawalpur, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Mandi Bahauddin, Multan, Rajanpur, Vehari, Sahiwal, Narowal, Bahawalnagar, Pak Pattan Sharif, Nankana Sahib, Toba Tek Singh, Chiniot, Lahore, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sheikhupura, Bhakkar, Hafizabad, Jhang, Okara, Khushab, Layyah, Lodhran, Faisalabad, Mianwali and Sialkot.

PEC Declares Date Sheet of 5th Class 2013

Punjab Education Commission came into being during 2005 with the objective to take exams of 5th class and 8th class to assess their abilities and talents. The commission has the mandate for taking the exams every year for both classes of the educational institutes. Now the commission is going to declare the date sheet and roll number slips of all students for appearing in the exams for the session 2013. The date sheet and roll number slips will be issued to the students through their schools which are likely to be held during the start of next year.

The commission has already registered the students of 5th and 8th classes of the educational institutions including Jhelum, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Attock, Sargodha, Jhang, Chiniot, hafizabad, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Lahore, Nankana Sahib, Toba Tek Singh, Okara, Kasur, Khanewal, Narowal, Sialkot, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Lodhran, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Pak Pattan Sharif, Sahiwal, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Vehari, Mandi Bahauudin, Multan, Bhakkar, Khushab, Muzaffargarh and Mianwali.

The commission has submitted roll number slips and date sheet has already been sent to the schools of the students for class 5th. The students should contact with their schools to get their roll number slips. It was also decided at the time of its existence that the date sheets for the concerned class will be issued one month before the commencement of the exams. Therefore, the exams of 5th class will be started from the next month or during December 2013. The students keep ready for their exams and show their abilities and talents during their exams.

Malakand University Declares Date Sheet for BA/BSc Supplementary Exams 2012

The University of Malakand announced the supplementary exams of BA/BSc exams for the year 2012 and invited applications from the eligible and concerned students to appear in the supply exams. The University demanded examination applications along with other documents including last DMC, photocopy of CNIC and domicile certificate and three passport size coloured photographs of the individuals.

The university also announced that the incomplete examination forms will not be entertained and they should be returned and will not be acceptable till the finalizing the objection made out in the exams application. The students who have compartment in one or two subjects in both Part I & II, then they should use two separate forms for their exams. The students should also make it ensure that the weapons and electronic devices are not allowed in the exams centers. The responsible persons will be dealt with severely. The examination forms received after due date have not been processed and such candidates have not been issued roll number slips and date sheets.

Now the University administration has made it clear that the exams will be started from November 22, 2012 for which exams schedules and roll number slips have been issued to all the students. The regular candidates should receive their roll number slips from their educational institutes and the documents of the private candidates have been dispatched on their postal addresses which they mentioned in their examination forms.
