Pak Students Prepare Device to save Electricity theft

Islamabad, Pakistani students studying in Pak Turk School Islamabad have prepared a device, Automatic Meter Reader to eradicate load shedding in the country. The students, Shahbaz Khattak and Abdul Moizz have prepared this electric device, Automatic Meter Reader on the basis of GSM and they presented this sophisticated device in the international competition of Computer Projects in Romania. This device will help the energy providing companies to finish the load shedding problems and minimize the theft of energy.

The students have presented this device in the international competition and shared its properties including provision of data to the service providing company, which helps them to carry out the problems of billing and trouble shooting. This device stood second in the competition and got the silver medal. This device can be used for the provision of accurate data, improvement in managing the energy, perceiving the moderation and used for the fire alarm and security system. It can also provide support to minimize the theft of electricity, which caused heavy loss of Rs. 250 billions to the government sector.
