Punjab Boards SSC Annual Exams 2014 from 1st March

Multan, All nine Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Punjab have decided to start the annual exams of SSC class from 1st March 2014 across Punjab. To make the necessary arrangements, Educational Boards should start receiving of applications forms for annual exams of Matric class for 2014 from November 28, 2013. Before this, PBCC has also confirmed that the result of the supply exams of Matric class 2013 will be announced on November 27, 2013.

These decisions have been made in the Punjab Board Committee of Chairmen meeting in which the chairmen of all nine educational boards was attended. Education Minister Punjab attended the meeting specially to examine the activities of the educational boards as well as to know the problems of the boards and fine their solutions. During the meeting of PBCC, a question was raised from some chairmen of the boards that the examiners and teacher showed their lack of interest in conducting the exams and the teachers do not take interest while checking the papers, which resulted into pile up the complaints against their boards. Another question regarding annual exams of BA/BSc classes in Government Universities start late which create problems for the educational boards. The chairmen gave their suggestions that the Government Universities should commence their graduate class exams during the month of May. The PBCC has emphasized over the issues and requested with the Provincial Education Minister to settle these problems and also arrangement meeting with the Secretary Schools Punjab, Secretary of the Higher Education Commission with PBCC to ask all Government Universities to take exams of graduate class during the month of May.
