Rana Mashood, Punjab Education Minister, announced that the government schools in Punjab will remain close for summer holidays from June 01, 2014 while the private schools will take holidays from June 10, 2014. While talking to media outside provincial assembly, the minister said that the vacations in government schools will held from 1^st June to 14^th august while it is necessary for private schools to give holidays from 10^th June 2014.
