Stipend Certificates Given to Over 35 Position Holders

At the No 1 School of Fatehjang, the Government Boys High School, the Stipend Certificate with an amount of Rs 150,000 was received by more than 35 position holders on Tuesday.

In order to help poor students, the Punjab’s Chief Minister founded the Punjab Education Endowment Funds, which gave approval to the amount of stipend certificate. Ch. Sher Ali Khan, who is the Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) from PP-17, was the chief guest at the occasion.

With Rs 10 billion as the initial money, the Punjab Education Endowment Funds was established with an aim to help poor needy people. According to Ch. Sher Ali Khan, those bright students would be given stipend certificate, who unable to continue their studies due to the poverty, as the financial assistance. He also said that government development funds would be given for the construction of more schools.

A grant would be provided, to construct the buildings for the district education officers both male and female, was said by the Ch. Sher Ali Khan.
