Establishment of National Centre for Resettlement and Rehabilitation in PU

Lahore, National Center for Resettlement and Rehabilitation is going to be established at the Institute of Social and Cultural Studies of Punjab University. This center is going to be established with the collaboration of the World Bank, which will give training for programs, academic research activities and policy guidelines for the relocation and restoration of the challenges.

Vice Chancellor of Punjab University Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran held a meeting with the delegation of World bank comprising of the Development Specialist Mr Chaohua Zhang, Environment and Resettlement Specialist of NESPAK Mr Irfan ul Haq and Director ISCS and Dean Faculty of Behavioral and Social Sciences Prof Dr Muhammad Zakariya Zakir. The VC thanked the delegation and said that this university will handle the development requirements and challenges of the Pakistani society. He also presented the University souvenir to the guests.
