Rescue 1122 Held Training Workshop at Punjab University

Lahore, Rescue 1122 held a training workshop for giving training of basic skills to the students in the department of Applied Psychology Punjab University. The main objective of this training is to give awareness and knowledge about rescue operations and their functions.

The training and the practical demonstration was attended by the Head of the department of Applied Psychology Prof Dr. Rukhsana Kousar, Program Coordinator Ms Shahnila Tariq, learned professors and students of the department. The workshop was supervised by the District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Dr. Ahmed Raza gave briefing to the participants about rescue 1122 and said that it is a life saving force. Other trainers including Ms. Firdous, Ms Marium and Mr. Azam gave training to the participants and gave them practical demonstration of firefighting and first aid emergency medical help to the students.

Prof Dr. Rukhsana Kousar thanked the staff of Rescue 1122 and encouraged their training and practical session especially their demo session in which training of different operation was given to the students.
