Karachi, Intermediate Part I annual result for Pre-Engineering and General Science groups has been announced by the Karachi Board of Intermediate Education for the exams of 2012-13.
According to the controller of exams of the board, about 24,961 boy and girl students appeared in the annual examinations of intermediate class. The result declares that only 11,828 students have passed the exams which are 47% of the entire result.
The board is also of the view that the result of intermediate part II Pre-Engineering and General Science group declared in September is better than 9% of this exam and now there is decline in the result.

Karachi, Karachi Board of Intermediate Education is going to announce the schedule for the upcoming Intermediate Part-I annual examination 2013. According to the schedule issued by the Karachi Intermediate Board, the annual exams of intermediate Part-I will he held in the science group (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical & Science General group), Home Economics, Humanities, Commerce and Medical Technology groups
According to the notification for the guidance of the students and other staff, the students should obtain examination forms for intermediate class Part-I annual examination through the pay order of Rs.35/- from the sales counter during office hours on any working day and submit them after getting attested them from the principals of their colleges or educational institutions. The students should submit their examination forms to the accounts section of the board on the specified dates.
Islamabad, Islamabad board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has announced the new schedule of previously postponed papers for the subjects including Islamic Studies-I, French-II and Statistics-II of Higher Secondary School Certificate supplementary examination 2012. These papers were decided to conduct in the examination centers of ICT. According to the new schedule, the papers of aforementioned subjects will be conducted on 07-12-2012 at IMCB H-9 for the boys and FG Girls Higher Secondary School G-6/1-4 for girl students.
Islamabad, Allama Iqbal Open University cancelled papers which were going to be held in Islamabad Examination Centers in 22-11-2012. According to new schedule, the papers postponed on 22-11-2012 will be held on 07-12-2012 in the same Examination center on the same timings.
The university will immediately announce the date, time and venue of the postponed papers of 23-11-2012. The students should keep in touch with the University for the new timings and dates of the papers.
Dear Students, The University administration is feeling extremely sorry for delay in the final lessons which are getting late due to some examinations in the University. When the exams will be over, then the University administration will conduct the final lessons within shortest possible time. The students will have to wait for some more days. When the university administration will make the plan then they will intimate the students on their postal addresses through posted mail. The University gave the dead line for submission of 10 observations, 40 lessons and 01 IEP which was November 10, 2012. The final date has lapsed and now the department will not receive any materials after closing of final date. Thanks for waiting for the final lessons.

He further said that AIOU has designed a curriculum for the students in which not only education is given to the students but also some skilled based profession will also be taught to the students so that they can get education and can also be able to earn money for their families. These schools will be established in Chakwak, Thatha and Vehari in the initial stage and then their network will be spread to give benefits to the children living in other areas of the country. The skilled based training and education will be given in the profession including first aid training, gardening, policing and dress making.
Swat, The annual exams for matriculation exams for 9th & 10th both classes of Swat Board will be started from March 13, 2013. According to the schedule the students who want to appear in the matric annual exams 2013 conducted by Swat Board, should obtain admission forms and submit with their admission fee.
The board sources said that the students should deposit their admission fee in shape of cash deposit in Allied Bank Limited Board branch of Swat Board or by sending the money order which will be remitted to the Secretary of the board. The students should attach original bank receipt of their admission fee or money order with their admission forms for the convenience of the board staff and ensure their payment of admission fee.
Faisalabad, Faisalabad board has declared that the annual matriculation exams for 2013 will be started from February 23, 2013. As it has already been announced in the meeting of the Chairmen of all Educational boards of the province held at Dera Ghazi Khan on November 22, 2012 that both the annual exams of matric and intermediate for the year 2013 will be held on February 23 and April 02, 2013 respectively.
Faisalabad board issued schedule for the matric annual exams for 2013 and invited all the interested students to apply for admission which will be started from December 5 or 6, 2012 and it will last for December 24, 2012. The students should obtain admission forms and submit till December 24, 2012 with normal fee.
Lahore, Rescue 1122 held a training workshop for giving training of basic skills to the students in the department of Applied Psychology Punjab University. The main objective of this training is to give awareness and knowledge about rescue operations and their functions.
The training and the practical demonstration was attended by the Head of the department of Applied Psychology Prof Dr. Rukhsana Kousar, Program Coordinator Ms Shahnila Tariq, learned professors and students of the department. The workshop was supervised by the District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Dr. Ahmed Raza gave briefing to the participants about rescue 1122 and said that it is a life saving force. Other trainers including Ms. Firdous, Ms Marium and Mr. Azam gave training to the participants and gave them practical demonstration of firefighting and first aid emergency medical help to the students.
Prof Dr. Rukhsana Kousar thanked the staff of Rescue 1122 and encouraged their training and practical session especially their demo session in which training of different operation was given to the students.
